Dan Abrams is the Chief Operating Officer of Creekside Financial Advisors. Dan manages the firm’s operating functions so that the advisors can focus on their clients. Dan’s career spans from serving as a trial attorney devoted to juvenile and criminal law to teaching all subjects in a private elementary day school.
A passionate community volunteer and supporter of many organizations, Dan has been an educator for the Cleveland Municipal Bar Association’s 3R’s program, volunteered at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, serves as a volunteer juvenile magistrate for the City of Cleveland, has participated in the Pet Pals program at University Hospital’s Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital with his therapy dog Yogi, and has visited seniors at Menorah Park Center for Senior Living with Yogi. His current dogs, Astro and Gidget are in training to become therapy dogs.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Master of Education from John Carroll University.
A native of Scranton, PA, Dan lives in Pepper Pike with his wife, Nan Cohen, and their Labradoodle Astro and Bernedoodle Gidget.
